Foot Reflexology -  Structural Reflexology
Massage Therapy - Positional Therapy - Cherokee Body Work

Serving Northern VT - NH Region

Foot Reflexology

Reflexology is a natural healing art based on the principle that there are reflexes in the feet, hands and ears which correspond to every gland, organ and system of the body. Foot reflexology involves the application of pressure with thumb and fingers on specific points on the feet.  Foot reflexology can relieve tension, soothe the nervous system, improve circulation, help promote natural function and restore homeostasis.

Part of your session includes a warm foot soak and foot massage which helps the muscles in your feet relax even more.

Structural Reflexology

Structural Foot Reflexology is a therapeutic practice involving foot assessment, foot reflexology, massage techniques and passive foot mobilization. Structural reflexology will help the entire body by relieving excessive muscle and ligament tension in the feet and lower legs. Structural Reflexology can benefit you if you have any of the following conditions:  Calluses, Corns, Bunions, Hammer toe, Neuroma,  Plantar Fascitis or Heel Spurs.   Structural Reflexology also helps with sore and tired feet and is excellent for relieving stress in general.

Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is a relaxing and rejuvenating experience with Swedish style and deep tissue massage. Soft tissue is manipulated using several different techniques to reduce stress, relieve muscular tension, improve circulation and increase flexibility. It is a truly calming experience, reaching the core of stress, tension and pain in your body. I use either a vegan lotion or organic oils.

Positional Release Therapy

Positional Release Therapy is a technique for addressing pain issues and pain referral patterns. Integrated Positional Therapy is the 'Lee Albert Protocol for Muscle Pain Relief'. It is based on strain/counter strain and muscle energy techniques. In order to relieve the presenting condition it is vital that the body be brought into balance first by aligning the structure. I will offer you some suggestions for self care, enabling you to continue the benefits after your session.

Cherokee Body Work

Cherokee body work uses energy techniques, including some considered to be of traditional Native American origin. These healing techniques deal with body, mind and spirit. Our purpose is to establish, enhance or restore well-being and harmony, with the goal of wellness and wisdom. Your session will be uniquely designed for you, as you communicate with me about your objectives, purpose, and the direction you are choosing. In addition to dialogue, your session would also include deep breathing , visualizations and guided imagery. You remain fully clothed and we may work on the massage table or as some prefer, outdoors on the ground.
